It's time for the annual AHSG Science Fair!
Unlike many science fairs, AHSG offers multiple categories for students to participate in.
- They can choose to do a traditional experiment, or invent a device or process to solve a problem.
- They can show off their science collections, or collect information and do a research project instead.
- They can show off a piece of scientific apparatus, or give a demonstration of some scientific principle or fact.
The AHSG science fair exists for students to show off a wide variety of science.
Overall, we want the students to be excited about science in all its many forms. We want them to learn how to share that excitement with others, and to be able to present their information in a logical manner.
Each category has its own requirements, and they are all provided in the brand new AHSG Science Fair Guidebook. You can get further information and the latest forms on the AHSG Homeschool Science Fair page.
Do you want your child to participate, but they don't know what project they want to do? No problem! This year, students do not have to select their project at initial registration.
You register your child(ren), and then later fill out a separate form to indicate the project name and category. Please do register as soon as possible, as we will be purchasing awards and making plans based on the number of students who have registered.
Cost: Each non- AHSG member family pays $15 per child ($10 for members) with a family maximum of $45 ($30 for members). Please be sure to register ALL of your students at the same time in order to get the family maximum discount. Discount only applies to members of the same household.
Please note: there are separate event registration pages for members vs. non-members. If you are an AHSG member, be sure to log in and use the member registration to get the discount! Payment is due at time of registration.
Registration instructions: Select the "family price option" that matches the number of students you are registering. Then add EACH student as an "attendee". Only add students, no parents or non-participants. After you have finished the process, be sure to continue through to "Pay Now" and make your payment immediately.
