PHEA Sports Information

PHEA operates  a physical education program for

PHEA Members (and non-members space permitting).

The program runs for approximately 30 weeks starting October 4, 2022 and running to the first week in December, then starting up again in January and running until the end of April. The program runs Tuesday afternoons.

PHEA Sports is fortunate to have a great working relationship with Beach Corner Church. We have developed a good working relationship with the church and need to follow the church rules. This is a private facility and  ask all participants & adults to be respectful of the building that we are using. The guidelines set out by the PHEA sports program work in conjunction with the church's requests and are essential for the success of the program. It continues to be important to maintain our good working relationship with the church.

There are 3 levels based primarily on age. At all levels, the students are encouraged to learn sportsmanship and good character while enjoying the many sports to which they are introduced. The younger levels are taught skills through play and some drills and modified versions of the sports they will play in higher levels. The older students are exposed to the sports they would be participating in through a regular school program plus some extras. In all levels the attitude of the students is most important. We strive to run a program that is fun and builds skills in physical education as well as in character.

Total Cost: Total of program is $60/family (non–refundable registration) + cost per level listed above, per child.

Registration is first come basis in the following order:

1. returning students (whose families are PHEA members for 21/22 school year) until May 31, 2021 

2. On May 31^th, open to other PHEA Members (for the 2021/22 school year);

3. This program is available to PHEA Members only for the 2022/23 year.
