FAQs

Q:

What is HERITAGE HOME SCHOLARS?

A:

HERITAGE HOME SCHOLARS is a nonprofit corporation created with the desire to reach out to Christian families in the Greene County area of East Tennessee who educate their children at home. HERITAGE HOME SCHOLARS operates a co-op in Greeneville on Mondays.  HERITAGE HOME SCHOLARS also offers the opportunity for fellowship, friendships, field trips, activities with area homeschoolers, and athletic opportunities.

Q:

What benefits are included in a HERITAGE HOME SCHOLARS membership?

A:

As a member of HERITAGE HOME SCHOLARS you are invited to participate in every activity, subject to age/grade guidelines.  This would include field trips, activities, scholastic competitions, athletics, moms' day out, conferences, and co-op classes.  In addition, you have full access to the HERITAGE website.  You will receive emails on upcoming events, homeschool helps, as well as general information on local events.

Q:

If I  am not able to participate in co-op classes, may I still be a member of HERITAGE HOME SCHOLARS?

A:

Absolutely!  You may choose which aspects of all that HERITAGE HOME SCHOLARS offers that you wish to participate in!

Q:

How do I join HERITAGE Co-op?

A:

The first step is to become a HERITAGE member by registering on this website.   Our Monday class schedule runs for 14 weeks in fall and spring for high school students and 10 weeks each fall and spring for elementary students.  We currently have a wait list for classes.  Each June we register current teachers and current class members and then do our best to fit in those on the waitlist who desire classes.  Even though we may not be able to fit you into classes immediately, please join Heritage and invest in our group through activities and field trips that we have for all ages.  We look forward to getting to know you and your family on this homeschool journey!

Q:

Does HERITAGE have a Facebook page?

A:

We do not have a Facebook page, but we do have a closed Facebook group.  Go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/115543438545258/ to request membership in the Facebook group.
