  • Spanish 1, High School Level (7th+)
¡Hola! I would like to introduce myself, my name is Patty Noguera Demopoulos, and I was born in Colombia, South America. My family moved to the United States when I was two years old. I was raised in a bi-lingual family where Spanish and English were spoken; many people refer to this as "Spanglish."  I relocated to Minnesota to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree from St. Cloud State University.  I am blessed with a wonderful husband, two children and three grandchildren.  I have taught Castilian Spanish and Language Arts for thirteen years for grades kindergarten through eighth grade and also am a private tutor for children and adults.  I developed the Spanish program with Spanish Language Standards at a private school where I worked for ten years.  The Spanish program’s focus is to allow the student to become comfortable with another language and culture.  I want them to be confident in their abilities to communicate with others different than themselves.  Overall, the outcome would cumulate in a Spanish education which fosters the spiritual, emotional and cognitive strengths of each individual child. I have been given the "gift" of teaching from our Lord and the joy it brings me is complete! I relish the gleam in student’s eyes when they exhibit "The Joy of Learning."
