Now Sharis has 4 children, whom she loves to teach! Along with the blessing of staying home to raise and homeschool her children, Sharis is excited to have the opportunity to now teach your children science through this wonderful co-op! It is so much more fun to teach science to a group of children as they all bring their unique perspectives. We are blessed and excited to have Sharis join us as a tutor this year!

Senora Patty Noguera, B.A.

  • Spanish (K-3)
  • Spanish (4-6th/7th)
  • Spanish 1, High School Level (7th+)
  • Spanish 2, High School Level (8th+)
¡Hola! I would like to introduce myself, my name is Patty Noguera Demopoulos, and I was born in Colombia, South America. My family moved to the United States when I was two years old. I was raised in a bi-lingual family where Spanish and English were spoken; many people refer to this as "Spanglish."  I relocated to Minnesota to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree from St. Cloud State University.  I am blessed with a wonderful husband, two children and three grandchildren.  I have taught Castilian Spanish and Language Arts for thirteen years for grades kindergarten through eighth grade and also am a private tutor for children and adults.  I developed the Spanish program with Spanish Language Standards at a private school where I worked for ten years.  The Spanish program’s focus is to allow the student to become comfortable with another language and culture.  I want them to be confident in their abilities to communicate with others different than themselves.  Overall, the outcome would cumulate in a Spanish education which fosters the spiritual, emotional and cognitive strengths of each individual child. I have been given the "gift" of teaching from our Lord and the joy it brings me is complete! I relish the gleam in student’s eyes when they exhibit "The Joy of Learning."

Teach is thrilled to welcome Heather to our co-op this year!

  • American History Alive! (4th - 7th/8th)

He has a B.A. degree from Bethel University and a Masters of Education degree from St. Mary’s University. He and his wife, Barbara, attend Grace Church in Eden Prairie, where Ollie teaches in the elementary department. Even though he has recently retired from public education, he has a continuing commitment to make learning history interesting as well as informative. He excels in motivating students to participate in the learning process. Through a variety of tasks and projects, his students come to view the study of history as a stimulating subject rather than just a boring collection of facts. He enjoys tutoring his unique history courses at several area homeschool co-ops.

Mrs. Esther Williamson, M. Ed.

  • Math Lab (7th - 12th)
Esther Williamson is married to Jim and has two precious boys (Vincent, 16, and Tad, 12). Besides home-educating her "guys," her passion and joy is to teach math. She has a Minnesota teaching license (grades 7-12 mathematics), a Masters in Mathematics Education from the University of Minnesota, and 21 years of experience teaching and tutoring math to all ages, kindergarten through college students.
