Q:

What classes do you offer?

A:

Classes for K-12 students are offered on Mondays-Thursday at First Baptist Helena.  Our offerings include art, history, science, P.E., literature, grammar, speech, etc.  We cover history using the classical method.

We use a variety of publisher materials:  Apologia Science, Story of the World, Tapestry of Grace, BJU Science, Notgrass History, Easy Grammar, Institute for Excellence in Writing, Mystery of History, First Forms Latin, Arriba Spanish, etc.

Middle and high school math and advanced science subjects are typically taught twice weekly.

The class schedule is posted on our website a few weeks before registration.

When does the waiting list open?

A:

Names are added to the waiting list as people "request membership" on our website.  

On the waiting list, you will remain on the waiting list until our registration for new families begins, which is usually around late February or early March of each year.

Q:

When does registration open?

A:

Registration opens for current families on March 5, 2021. 

New family registration begins on March 19, 2021.

What do the Registration and Facility fees cover?

 

A:

Registration Fee - $145/student/family annually or $290 for 2 or more students/family annually 

Facility Fee (payable to host churches) - $125/family split in two equal payments:  $62.50 on May 1st and $62.50 on December 1st

Q:

What are the costs of each class?

 

A:

A $25 class deposit, payable to the teacher and included in total tuition cost, is due by April 1st. A listing of teachers along with their preferred payment method(s) can be found on each class description on our site.  Your place is held in the class until April 1st, and your deposit must be paid by this date or you may lose your spot in the class.  PLEASE NOTE:  Once you pay the $25 deposit for a class, you are committing to pay the full tuition for that class, so please be thoughtful about your class decisions.
