What: Kick-Off Family Fellowship is our back-to-school event with a potluck and outdoor fun for the whole family. You’ll have an opportunity to meet the NHEA Board, Student Council Teens, Mentor Moms, fellowship with other families and play outdoor games (bring some), watch your kids on the HUGE waterslides, enjoy snowballs and a potluck meal & desserts. Homemade always goes fast and is enjoyed.

Who: Everyone! Both new to homeschooling and veteran families are welcome. This event is open to the public and is for your homeschool family. New? We invite everyone who is interested in homeschooling, everyone new to homeschooling, and everyone new to the area. Veteran? Emphasize your interest in serving one another and come meet some new friends and welcome them on this exciting journey. And of course, enjoy fellowship with families you've missed all summer long.

Dress Code: Please review the Dress Code policy per the website and read the applicable portion pasted below. "Field Day and Kickoff are unique events that have wet activities such as water balloon wars and waterslides. For these occasions, swim trunks with a dark T-shirt are appropriate for young men. A bathing suit with fingertip-length shorts and a dark T-shirt are appropriate for young ladies."

Note: Swimsuits are okay for toddlers, Pre-K and early elementary only.

Cost: Free! Just bring plenty of food for sharing

Fundraiser for Student Council: Celebrate!!!  WE have an awesome group of Teenagers.  Lets encourage and support them.  You can bring some cash to purchase a brand new T-shirt design for the 2018-2019 school year or to simply donate to Student council. This supports our Teens in their annual planning and helps keep costs low for many teens to participate. Sizes available for children and adults.
