Participation Information and Options for 2021-2022

1) Indoor Track Option: Classes will be indoors/outdoors at the church for ages 10+  and will include a Teen Drop Off program for those ages 12+ (Must be 12 by September 1).  We will be offering 3 class times. Masks will be required in the church and on the church grounds. There may be class fees for materials assessed at the time of registration. There will be a minimum of 3 students needed for a class to run.

The indoor schedule for the families with students ages 10+ will be as follows:

9:00 - 9:15 am Set-up

9:15 am Check-in - Temperature Checks

9:30 - 10:20 am Period 1

10:20 - 10:30 am Break 1

10: 30 - 11:30 am Period 2

11:20-11:30 am Break 2

11: 30 - 12:20 pm Period 3

12:20 Dismissal & Cleaning

Drop-off fees will be  $200 per student per semester.

There may be class fees associated with the classes being offered and those would be in addition to the drop-off fee. The regular non-refundable Fall and Spring Family fees will be assessed in addition to the drop-off fee.

 

2) Outdoor Track Option: Classes will be held outdoors at a location TBD (hopefully the Picnic Woods ) and will be for families with students ages 10 and under.  We will be offering 3 class times. Masks will be required. There may be a class fee for materials assessed at the time of class registration. There will be a minimum of 3 students needed for a class to run.

All students in person will have to abide by the CDC and State of Maryland guidelines. Masks will be mandatory, temperatures will be checked and social distancing if required will be enforced.

Alcohol & Drug Use Policy: Any event, activity, program, class, etc, that is coordinated through the use of MHEC group lists, including those held in private homes, will prohibit alcohol use by minors and illegal drug use of any kind.  

MONOCACY HOME EDUCATORS CO-OPERATIVE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY OR CANCEL MEMBERSHIP,  TO ANY FAMILY OR STUDENT, FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE GUIDELINES IN THIS AGREEMENT, OR FOR ANY DISPLAY OF DEFIANCE OR IRREVERENCE TOWARD THESE GUIDELINES.

I confirm that I will not permit my child to participate in the in person program or activity if, at any time during the program or activity, my child is showing any symptoms of COVID-19 (including but not limited to fever, dry cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pains). Additionally, I confirm that I will not permit my child to participate in the in person program or activity if, at any time during the program or activity, my child has been in contact with any individual diagnosed with COVID-19 or any individual currently waiting for test results confirming the possibility of a COVID-19 diagnosis. I agree that in such situations, my child will be unable to participate in the program or activity until: (i) 14 calendar days after the symptoms first appeared and my child is no longer showing any symptoms; or (ii) a healthcare provider has confirmed in writing that my child has tested negative for COVID-19 or that my child’s symptoms were not due to COVID-19.

I understand that the images may be used in print publications (yearbook), online publications( MHEC website), presentations, websites, and social media. I also understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.
