Who We Are
Welcome to an exciting year for Great Endeavor Homeschoolers! We are feeling ambitious for what we have planned and look forward developing a great family of homeschoolers!
Great Endeavor Homeschoolers (GEH) was formed in 2014 to provide support and encouragement to local homeschooling families through prayer, support, and various opportunities to meet together and enrich our homeschool experience. Homeschooling is a GREAT ENDEAVOR, but not always an easy one! Every member of the family needs support, encouragement, and friends to share this unique experience. GEH strives to provide this experience with a variety of programs, activities, and events geared towards the whole family, moms, all ages of students, and even dads! Whether you are new to homeschooling, 'thinking' about homeschooling or a seasoned teacher, GEH wants to provide you with the means to make the homeschooling experience EXACTLY what you want it to be!
To bring like-minded Christian homeschooling families together for fellowship and encouragement through prayer, support, and various opportunities to meet together and enrich our homeschool experience. We seek to honor Jesus Christ in all that we say, all that we think, and all that we do.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 (NIV)
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. 2 Tim. 3:16
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Rev 1:8; Matt. 28:19
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection and His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal future return to earth in power and glory to rule forever.
We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. I Pet. 3:18; Tit. 3:5.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: one to everlasting life and the other to eternal damnation. Jn. 5:28-29.
