Monthly Meeting: A Standing Miracle

Add to Your Calendar: 02/02/2023 18:00 02/02/2023 20:30 America/Chicago Monthly Meeting: A Standing Miracle

Bring your whole family to see this inspirational performance. "A Standing Miracle" is an historically accurate, dramatic monologue presented by retired Judge Josh Morriss who has been performing this presentation for over a decade. He portrays President George Washington as he recounts the hand of Providence in the formation of the United States.

All events retold in "A Standing Miracle" actually happened. Beyond Washington's actual words, all opinions expressed in A Standing Miracle are found in Washington's own writings. Only the scene itself is fictionalized. The monologue transports listeners back to March 4, 1797, and to an audience with the first President of the United States in the moments before he leaves office.

Audiences have thrilled at "A Standing Miracle". "A sterling portrayal." "Powerful and moving." "We were spellbound."

NOTE: No Kids, Bridge, or Teen events will be happening this evening!  Sign-ins begin at 6:00, and the meeting will begin at 6:30.  You don't want your kids to miss this!  See you there!
