WHEAT 2020 Moms' Retreat!

Add to Your Calendar: 02/29/2020 10:00 02/29/2020 15:00 America/New_York WHEAT 2020 Moms' Retreat!

"What makes you anxious during your homeschool days?"

"What difficult aspects of your life can you see as potentially reasons that God placed you here for such a time as this?"

"Is there anything so audacious to hope for that it is too big a request for our God?"

"How can you integrate joy and thankfulness into your family?"

These are just a few of the questions we'll explore at our retreat this year with Kristina Kotlus, a homeschool mom and local blogger (http://www.pwcmoms.com), and our topic will be finding joy (even in pain, struggles, sorrow, etc.). Kristina has written an recenty-released book titled I Quit: Facing Cancer with Faith, Family and Friends, which we plan to have available at the retreat (no obligation to purchase- only if you're interested). Sign-ups are OPEN!

This is always a relaxing day of fellowship, worship, and relaxation. and spending quiet time in God's Word. We have good food and good company, but no loud music blasting while you're trying to carry on a conversation or hyperactive worship leaders. Don't miss it!

Our retreat is open to all homeschooling mothers, both those who are currently homeschooling and those who are considering it or have graduated children from their homeschool. Nursing or lap infants are welcome to come with mom, but no childcare is available. The cost  is $10.00 for WHEAT members and $15.00 for non-members; this will include brunch and a love offering for our host church. You are welcome to invite friends to come with you.

Payment at the time of registration is much appreciated.
