What costs are involved in BHC?

A:

Costs can be broken down into 3 main categories:  registration, tuition, and other fees.  Registration is $125 per student (non-refundable) and is due at the time of registration (joining the BHC co-op).  Tuition varies by class and is set by the teacher.  A $50 deposit is due PER class which is deducted from the total amount of tuition.  The deposit is due by April 15th to each teacher, and the remaining tuition is due by August 1st (if divided in half, 1/2 is due August 1st, and the remaining 1/2 is due on the first day of class in January of 2022).  Other fees may occur in some classes based on curriculum or supply fees.

Q:

Why can't I register yet?

A:

BHC uses a rolling registration system.  In January of each year, all user accounts are "parked" on the website.  This designation locks personal accounts so that information for the next academic year can be uploaded and the site can be updated.  Users are still able to access the home page during this time.

Registration opens for current BHC members at 9:00 am on Friday, March 12, 2021.  Members of The Church at Brook Hills may register beginning at 9:00 am on Friday, March 19, 2021, and registration is open to the public at 9:00 am on Friday, March 26, 2021. Accounts are unlocked in the order in which registration fees are paid.  Each account must be unparked individually, and the website will generate an email stating that the account is ready for registration.

Please contact Sheryl Turner at (205) 706-8173 with any registration issues.
