Angela Weaver

Angela Weaver has been teaching theater for all ages, high school and middle literature, Lost Tools of Writing, a high school essay writing class, choir and her own children for over 12 years. Angela taught at Home Front Educators and The Academy Center for the Arts over the years.

Jill Mazzie

Jill is a wife and mother to 5. Her family has lived in the area for almost 10 years. Her and her husband are currently homeschooling one child. Jill is a 911 Dispatcher and has been for 14 years. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her family, crocheting, cooking, baking and deal shopping.

Penny Trupe

Penny is a wife and a mother to 3 children. She is currently a work at home, homeschooling mom. Penny studied Computer Science and Business Management at Liberty University. She also worked for Liberty's computer helpdesk for 7 years. She has knowledge of many computer systems and enjoys learning about new technology. She also enjoys reading, baking, sewing, and gardening.

Betsy Hudson

Betsy is a wife and homeschool mom of 4. She has worked as a nurse in the ICU for the past 16 years and enjoys the study of science. She also studied dance for many years and enjoyed teaching ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical dance up untll her oldest child was born. Betsy has taught for other homeschool co-ops in the past and is excited to be teaching for Homeschool First!

Phil Mazzie

Phil is a husband and father to 5. Phil is from Detroit, MI and moved to the Central VA area in 2005. He is a stay at home dad that enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, camping and exploring our beautiful area. Before staying home Phil was a truck driver to include tow trucks and big rigs. He loves to travel and has seen much of our country while over the road. Phil also enjoys hilarious internet memes.

Jerome Krejcha

Jerome and his family moved here to Lynchburg after completing a 21 year career in the United States Marine Corps. Jerome graduated from Liberty University with his Master's of Divinity degree and is employed by Corporate Chaplains of America. In his "off duty" time Jerome is a lifelong karate student and has been an instructor for over 15 years in Okinawan Seidokan Karate.
