Do you have the desire to home school your kids, or you are considering it, but how do you pull everything together and actually do it?
Homeschooling is an adventure and a new lifestyle. Feeling nervous and unsure of yourself is completely normal.
If you are new to homeschooling or within the first three years, these workshops are for you!
Join us for this series of classes where we will cover the basics of homeschooling, the NC law, common pitfalls for beginners, and include important tips to get off to a great start!
Topics covered include:
Why Consider Homeschooling? How to Legally Homeschool in NC, Teaching and Learning Styles, Choosing Curriculum, Teaching Tips, Testing & Evaluations and Creating a Learning Environment.
If you have children age 2 years-5th grade childcare is available. No registration necessary.
Nursery is available for children 2 and under by signing up here: https://my.biltmorechurch.com/familypreregistration
Student ministry is also available for young people 6th-12th grades. No registration necessary.
Nursing infants are welcome to attend class with parents.
**PLEASE SIGN UP EARLY ONLINE FOR CHILDCARE (LINKS ABOVE) TO SAVE TIME AND SO WE CAN STAFF APPROPRIATELY. Please arrive early in order to get your children settled in their appropriate places. Class will start on time since we have so much to cover.**
