Co-op classes are for members only. Classes available for all ages, but you must have a child in Kindergarten or above to enroll. Check out the FAQs page for answers to commonly asked questions.
Location: Christ Community Church (5500 Sayle, Greenville).
Semester Dates: (Fridays only, 10 week semesters):
FALL 2019: September 13 - November 22 (no class 11/8).
SPRING 2020: February 7 - April 24 (no class 4/3 & 4/10).
** Back to School Kick-Off/Orientation: August 30.
It takes everyone working together to have a successful, low-cost, educational enrichment program. A commitment in both attendance and volunteer participation is required.
- One adult family member remains on-site to volunteer as a teacher, helper, nursery worker, cleaning crew or other area in need of assistance.
- You must be willing to teach a class to participate; however, you may not always be placed as a teacher.
- Excessive absences or tardies will impact eligibility to enroll in future semesters.
Each period lasts 50 minutes. Assembly includes announcements, prayer and pledges.
Assembly 9:00am - 9:10am
1st period 9:20am - 10:10am
2nd period 10:15am - 11:05am
3rd period 11:10 am - 12:00pm
- $35 membership fee, paid each semester
- Class supply fees, paid one-time (not monthly)
- Love offering to host church for generously allowing use of their building
Membership and supply fees are non-refundable. Membership fee must be paid to register for classes. Class supply fees due by orientation.
How to Apply
Check calendar for application period. Applications submitted after the deadline are held on a wait list until following semester. The application takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and includes submitting a class idea to teach. Click to preview class idea form. No money due when you apply.
New member applications are evaluated and approved based on information provided such as class ideas, space availability, and background check results. Background checks are required on all non-student participants age 18 and older.
Class Schedule & Registration
The schedule is created from class ideas submitted during application process. Class schedule is posted a few weeks after the application period ends with registration starting shortly afer. "Teaching credits" are given for each class you lead or as board allows for high workload volunteer positions. Registration times are staggered with teaching credits determining when you register.
