We offer field trips and fellowship activities that are open to our homeschool community family. Co-op classes are for members only. Classes are for all ages, but you must have a child in 1st grade or above to enroll.
** Due to church availability, we are only doing 10 week semesters for the 2018-2019 school year (usually do 12 weeks).
Location: Christ Community Church (5500 Sayle, Greenville).
Fall 2018 Dates (Fridays only): Orientation: August 17. Classes: August 24 - November 2. No class on 9/7, optional field trip instead.
Spring 2019 Dates (Fridays only): January 11 - March 15 (3/29 reserved for bad weather makeup day). Optional field trips in April-May.
It takes everyone working together to have a successful, low-cost, educational enrichment program. A commitment in both attendance and volunteer participation is required.
- One adult family member remains on-site to volunteer as a teacher, helper, nursery worker, cleaning crew or other area in need of assistance.
- You must be willing to teach a class to participate; however, you may not always be placed as a teacher.
- Excessive absences or tardies will impact eligibility to enroll in future semesters.
Each period lasts 50 minutes. Assembly includes announcements, prayer and pledges.
Assembly 9:00am - 9:10am
1st period 9:20am - 10:10am
2nd period 10:15am - 11:05am
3rd period 11:10 am - 12:00pm
- $35 membership fee, paid each semester
- Class supply fees, paid one-time (not monthly)
- Love offering to host church for generously allowing use of their building
Membership and supply fees are non-refundable. Membership fee must be paid to register for classes. Class supply fees due by orientation.
How to Apply
Check calendar for application period. Applications submitted after the deadline are held on a wait list until following semester. The application takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and includes submitting a class idea to teach. Click to preview class idea form. No money due at time of application.
New member applications are evaluated and approved based on information provided such as class ideas, space availability, and background check results. Background checks are required on all non-student participants age 18 and older.
Class Schedule & Registration
The schedule is created from class ideas submitted during application process. Class schedule is posted a few weeks after the application period ends and registration begins soon after. "Teaching credits" are given for each class you lead teach or as board allows for high workload volunteer positions. The registration times are staggered with teaching credits determining your time to register.
