About Us

Georgia Rural Area Christian Educators Homeschool Cooperative, affectionately known as GRACE Co-op, was founded in 2004 by a group of homeschool families. These families were looking for a Christ-centered environment where they could come together for fellowship  and to teach high school classes that may have been challenging for parents to teach at home. While striving to continue with the vision of our founders, through the years GRACE has also developed excellent programs for middle school, elementary school, and pre-school. We understand that some families are looking for core academic classes for their children while others desire elective classes.  It is our hope to offer both academic and core options to accommodate all of our families. But GRACE is so much more than the classes we offer.

GRACE is a community. A community of like-minded, Christian families who desire to provide our children with an excellent education, elective opportunities, and a foundational understanding of Jesus Christ and His Word. All classes are taught from a Christian worldview and teachers have the freedom to discuss all subjects from a Biblical perspective.

GRACE is a cooperative. We depend on every parent to help as either a lead teacher or an assistant teacher. Our admin team is always willing to assist parents in finding the best place to serve.

GRACE is a place where lifetime friendships are formed, where discouraged hearts are encouraged, and where new interests are peaked.

GRACE is a place where we learn to work together, to think critically, to try new adventures, and to encourage those around us to be the best they can be.

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18
