Club 415 Speech & Debate
Club 415 Speech and Debate Team
“To Speak the Truth in Love”
Our Practical Purpose in forming Club 415 is to provide interested students practice and refining of skills in speech and debate tournament events. Speech and Debate helps students develop their skills in written and oral communication, critical thinking, and persuasiveness. Our ultimate goal is to equip our children to deliver the gospel message, to demonstrate Christ-like character, and to “speak the truth in love”.
TACHE, Tyler Area Christian Homeschool Educators, is our area support group. We have partnered with them in order to build relationships within our community, celebrate together the achievements of Club 415 students and to ensure accountability. We agree with their Statement of Faith, and have agreed to abide by their standards.
Stoa is a National Speech and Debate League. Stoa serves the needs of junior high and high school Christian home- schooling families across the Nation. www.Stoausa.org
