Pollard Park Playdate
Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather while the kids burn off some energy, while moms can get in a chance to talk to other adults.
This is a great playdate for kids of all ages. Youngers tend to stay on the playground, while olders tend to wander the soccer fields more. Feel free to bring soccer balls, frisbees, baseballs, and footballs for olders to toss around.
We are there to let the kids run off steam and get to know each other, and to give us moms and dads a chance to encourage each other and pass helpful information. This is a safe place for your kids to come and meet other kids-- we will do our best to help you meet others and fit in.
This is NOT a drop off event. A parent or guardian needs to be present with their children at all times. Children need to be accompanied to the bathroom area by either a parent or teenaged sibling and accompanied if they leave the immediate area during playgroup time. There are toilets, but you may want to bring wipes and or toilet paper, just in case. There IS great shade there.
