The Mission of Sedes Sapientiae:

We are a homeschooling community supporting each others’ call to educate our children within the tenets of our Catholic faith by offering a parent-run, family- supporting Classical homeschool Co-Op.

The Vision of Sedes Sapientiae:

Sobornost  - It is a Russian word that has been described as, “A deep abiding unity of heart and peace of the [co-op] community.  A unity of people in loving fellowship.”

“Sobornost enters our hearts through the grace of the Trinity...It is a mystery to be understood more with the heart than with the mind."

Sedes Sapientiae Homeschool Co-op belongs to God and to Our Mother, Mary and it is under her patronage in her name "The Seat of Wisdom."  This title refers to the fact that Jesus, Who is Wisdom, was seated in her lap and learned from her as a child growing up in her home.  She guides us to Our Heavenly Father and we ask for her intercession as we come together to be united in our hearts to raise our children in our holy Catholic faith.

It is our belief that God calls us to be open and welcoming to the families He brings to the co-op, while working with Him to protect the heart and unity of the co-op community.

Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom, Pray for Us!
