Suzanne Wolvin To All Instructors
After studying music at Oberlin College and the University of Oregon, Suzanne Wolvin met her wonderful husband, Doug, in Youth with a Mission (YWAM). As homeschooling parents, their four children were actively and enthusiastically involved at Homeschool Plus for many years. Suzanne completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music at Old Dominion University, followed by a Master of Music Education with an emphasis in choral conducting. Suzanne was adjunct professor of music (music history, appreciation, theory, sight singing, and applied voice) at Tidewater Community College for five years. She has taught piano and voice privately for over 3 decades to all ages, and has been Music Director at two local churches—one liturgical, the other contemporary. Suzanne sings soprano with the Virginia Symphony Chorus, and is a voice student of Katherine Lakoski. She taught dance at a local dance studio, pioneered worship dance teams at two local churches, and taught both dance and drama at Fine Arts Camps for two churches in Hampton Roads. Doug and Suzanne love spending time with their four adult children as well as their six adorable grandchildren.
