Educationally Speaking
The Educationally Speaking Series is designed to give homeschoolers the opportunity to develop their public speaking skills. Themes vary but have included Historically Speaking, Artistically Speaking, Scientifically Speaking, etc. Participants research their person/event/job of choice and then present in front of a warm and welcoming audience at the Pinecrest Branch Library.

Here is a brief description of each topic:
Career Day Select an occupation of interest and tell us about it. What is the job? What type of education do you need? Why do you like it? Would you want to do that job? Why is the job important?
Young Inventors Fair Invent a creative solution to a problem, present your idea and your prototype
Who was? Choose someone from the popular book series to present about, you do not need to use the Who was? Books, but they are really good
Science Fair Present your experiment/findings
