Mr. Jeff Freeman
Jeff Freeman is a veteran homeschool dad and avid sports-lover who lives by the axiom, “work hard, play hard”. Jeff has coached soccer, archery, and cross country, as well as refereed jr. high, high school, and community league soccer. In his spare time, Jeff runs his plumbing company, teaches a workforce plumbing class at Co-Lin, and operates Ole Brook Jump & Jive (water slides & bounce houses) as well as Bullseye Entertainment (mobile laser tag).
Mrs. Stephanie Freeman
Stephanie Freeman is married to Jeff and a 22-year homeschool veteran of her four children and two nephews. Stephanie studied Spanish in high school and college, but truly learned the language after working for months with a native speaker during her family’s time on the mission field in Ecuador. She loves the Spanish language, Latin American culture, and especially Latin American people.
Mrs. LeAnna Gennaro
LeAnna Gennaro is married to Trey and homeschool mom of Brynlee and Caleb. Leanna loves the excitement of preschool discoveries and encourages a love of learning by offering books, crafts, and Montessori-inspired toys and activities in her home.
Br. Zach Kilpatrick
Zach Kilpatrick is husband to Amanda and father to Chip (9), Addy (7), Chase (5), Jett (4), and Hope (6 months). He is the pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Brookhaven. Zach has a background in teaching high school science (Biology I and II, A&P). He earned a B. S. in Biology from MSU and a Masters in Teaching Biology from The University of West Alabama.
Mrs. Misty McMorris
Misty McMorris is the mother of 6, and while she loves teaching Bible and education within the home, homesteading and farming have also become a priority in the lives of the Mcmorris family since 2015. Over the years, the Lord put a love and passion within Misty's heart for the natural things He has provided. This sparked an interest in learning more about specific plants, how to identify them, and how to use them.
Mrs. Emily Phillips
Emily Phillips is married to Jeff Phillips, and they have three boys; two (David and Robert) are at Brookhaven Academy and one in homeschool (Lucas). She has a B. A. in Art with a minor in English from the University of Mississippi. Emily has taught art at Faith Presbyterian Kindergarten and high school art at Brookhaven Academy.
Mrs. Lindsey Reid
Lindsey Reid is the wife of David Reid and mother of Sam, Leah, and Toby. Homeschooling for six years, her family live and learn in the Caseyville community where they attend Macedonia Baptist Church. Lindsey is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and loves a good book.
