Mrs. Montana Beeson

Montana Beeson is a proud homeschool graduate that now homeschools her two sons. As a songwriter, Montana recognizes the significance that music has made in our society. As God has designed us so creatively, music sometimes hits the soul where words fall flat. You may find Montana's original music on iTunes or Apple Music. 

She is thrilled to be teaching this six-lesson series. 

Mrs. Lanelle Blailock

Lanelle was a homeschool mom for 15 years, and is now excited to be homeschooling her two granddaughters. She and her husband served as the head of BHE for several years as well as served on the board of MHEA. Needless to say, there is a special place in her heart for homeschool parents and the call God has placed on our hearts to raise up the next generation. 

Mrs. Casey Carroll

Mrs. Casey Carroll is the wife of Josh and mother/teacher to Gavin, Sadie, Clara, Hannah, and Wyatt. She graduated from LSU with a marketing degree in 2006, but is a life-long learner and lives to know more about all the things. Casey is active in church and usually spends her free time cooking, knitting, or playing games with her kids. 

Mr. Josh Carroll

Mr. Josh Carroll is the husband to Casey and homeschool dad to Gavin, Sadie, Hannah, Clara, and Wyatt. By day he is a teacher of Substation Mechanics for Entergy. When he's not at work, he's usually working on things at home, fixing anything that breaks, and finding new projects when everything is working correctly. He loves dad jokes, working with his hands, and spending time with his family. 

Mrs. Lynn Crawford

Lynn is a former homeschooler of 12 years turned Registered Nurse Case Manager at Fresenius Kidney Care. Her husband, Brandon, is Senior HSE Advisor for Noble Offshore Drilling. 

Watching their oldest daughter struggle in school during COVID made the choice to homeschool a no-brainer. Lynn's mom had been a wonderful teacher so they enlisted her help once again with the next generation. When it was time for their youngest daughter to start school, Nana stepped up and said “we will take it a year at a time and see how it goes”. Four years later and she’s still going strong! 

Lynn is thrilled to be co-teaching with her mom this year and looks forward to getting to know your precious little ones as they explore God’s amazing creation together! 

Mr. Jeff Freeman

Jeff Freeman is a veteran homeschool dad and avid sports-lover who lives by the axiom, “work hard, play hard”. Jeff has coached soccer, archery, and cross country, as well as refereed jr. high, high school, and community league soccer. In his spare time, Jeff runs his plumbing company, teaches a workforce plumbing class at Co-Lin, and operates Ole Brook Jump & Jive (water slides & bounce houses) as well as Bullseye Entertainment (mobile laser tag and archery tag).

Mrs. Stephanie Freeman

Stephanie is the wife of Jeff and Mom to Jesse, Abi, Ana Claire, and Ainsleigh Grace. She loves Jesus, good books, and a good cup of tea. 

Her family attends Wesson Baptist Church. 

Sarah Gates

Mrs. Sarah Gates is wife to Nolan and mom to Cora, Grady, Silas, and Lydia. 

Br. Cullen Greer

Cullen Greer is the Worship Pastor and Youth Pastor at Wesson Baptist Church. He is the husband of Alli and Dad to Colby, Millie, Charlie, and Maggie. He hopes to share his love of music with our students. 

Mrs. Denise Griffin

Denise Fletcher Griffin lives in Bogue Chitto with her husband David Griffin and six-year-old son Sebastian.  Denise grew up in Tyler, TX and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1986.  She graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN in 1990 with a BA in English Literature.  She published her medieval novel The Advent of the King (nom de plume Fletcher King) in 2006. 

Denise has taken speech and public speaking classes on and off since middle school and was a member of Toastmasters in 2012.

Mrs. Emily Hall

Mrs Emily is wife to Bobby, mom to Avery Ann, Garrison, and Finn. She is a part-time x-ray tech but a full-time wife and mom entering her 14th year of homeschooling her children. She enjoys a hodgepodge of many activities such as reading, decorating, and gardening. She hopes to use this class to teach the students how to love and glorify the Lord through learning about the blessings of His creation. 

Mrs. Shelly Halley

Mrs. Shelly is wife to Chris and homeschool mama to Jaudon, Mary Ann, and Evelyn. Her family attends Philadelphia Baptist Church. Mrs. Shelly is beginning her fourth year homeschooling and is no longer afraid of the messy experiments that her kids love! 

Mrs. Hannah Hood

Mrs. Hannah Hood is wife to Josh and homeschool mom to many. 

Mrs. Makita Jackson

Mrs. Makita is wife to Drew and homeschool mom to Finn, Killian, and Oliver. They attend Wesson Baptist Church and desire to be a family after God's own heart. Mrs. Makita loves to read and hoards curriculum and children's literature. 

Rev. Zach Kilpatrick

Rev. Zach Kilpatrick is the husband of Amanda, homeschool dad of five, and the pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. 

Mr. Marcus McBride

Mr. Marcus is homeschool Dad to Jase. Homeschool dad to Jase.  He has worked in Information Technology/Litigation Support at a law firm for over 20 years. 

Mrs. Misty Newman

Misty Newman is the wife of Billy and Mom to Elaina, Mylane, and Ben. 

Hannah Phillips

Mrs. Hannah Phillips is married to Curtis and enjoys being a homeschool mom to her two boys. She's an RN currently working part-time at Halo IV Hydration. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting with her family. 

Mrs. Lindsey Reid

Lindsey Reid is the wife of David Reid and mother of Sam, Leah, and Toby.  They live outside of Brookhaven in the Caseyville community.  She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi.  She has been homeschooling for seven years.  Her family attends Macedonia Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Erin Sisco

Mrs. Erin Sisco is married to Daniel and a homeschool mom to two. 

Mrs. Clarissa Travis

Mrs. Clarissa is a registered nurse (14 years). After much prayer and conviction, it was clear that the Lord had changed the desires of her heart and had new plans in store for her family. In 2024, she became a stay-at-home mom and started homeschooling her three children--Amerie (12), Amelia (9), and Maverick (3). Mrs. Clariss loves to cook and loves serving as a member of her church, Grace Life Church of Brookhaven. 

Mrs. Liz Warrick

Liz is the wife of Greg Warrick and Mama to Georgia, Levi, and Evelyn. They attend Wesson Baptist Church.
