Geography 3rd-4th

Geography for our 2019/2020 school year will take the class on a trip to several different countries and cultures across the globe. We will explore what makes a place and its people unique by learning about the customs, religion, music, art, history and cuisine. There will be a light study of various kinds of maps and the class will engage mapmaking that pertains to the country/culture being studied. This class will be extremely hands-on, with several projects to take home at the end of the year. I also will be using food extensively in our lessons, as this facilitates learning about topography and climate.
