Chsel+ Alg 1/2

This class includes daily assignments, daily assignment check and corrections, weekly lecture/instruction, and weekly tests. The Pre-Algebra Help Friday lab is designed to enrich this class. One day a week is insufficient to complete all material, therefore, assignments will be completed at home and to be turned in on due dates as specified on classroom dashboard and/or each meeting day. 

This class is the culmination of prealgebra mathematics, a full pre-algebra course and an introduction to geometry and discrete mathematics. Some topics covered include Prime and Composite numbers; fractions & decimals; order of operations, coordinates, exponents, square roots, ratios, algebraic phrases, probability, the Pythagorean Theorem and more. Utilizing an incremental approach to math, your students will learn in small doses at their own pace, increasing retention of knowledge and satisfaction!  This course is interchangeable with Saxon 8/7.
