SWGHA Cross country

indicates a required answer

I would like to invite you and your homeschoolers to participate in the SWGHA fall cross country program. We are getting a slightly late start because of COVID but I do not foresee any issues that should be of major concern since cross country is an outdoor and a non-contact sport. As last year, we will be practicing Monday - Fridayfrom 7:30AM until 8:30AM, or 9AM at the latest at the Darton/ASU west campus. Arrangements can be made for other times if needed to fit your family's schedule.

As of right now I anticipate competing in five invitational meets plus region and state. I plan to keep the invitational meets as close to Albany as possible to limit travel. As a member of the GAPPS we can compete in any public or private school invitational meets. Our GAPPS region and/or state meets will be held in Fayetteville at Konos Academy in mid-October.

The cost to participate will be $100/athlete plus uniforms which last year I think cost $30. That cost covers the GAPPS registration fees plus the meet fees.

Please let me know if your family plans to participate this year by email or by phone.

Let us rejoice and praise God with His gifts of fleet feet this season.
