FAQs

Q:

How much does your co-op cost?

A:

We have several options for enrollment. If you choose to simply stay connected with us through Mom's nights outs, field trips, park days, classifieds, prayer chains and the website, you can pay a nominal fee of $25 per year to have access to our website, classes and emails as well as an open invitation to all of our events.

For our weekly co-op classes, we do enrollment by the semester, not the year. Each semester is $85 per semester per family. This includes three periods of classes for ALL your kiddos for the whole semester. (Fall or Spring) The only classes that will require an additional class fee are those classes in which we have hired professionals (who DO THIS for a profession) to come in and teach a certain class. Classes that fall under this category are Kung Fu, Chess, Spanish, and possibly other classes in the future.  There are two semesters each year. In addition to the registration fee, there is a background check required at your cost for around $15.

If you are very eager and interested in attending both our AM co-op three periods as well as our PM co-op three periods for a total of up to 6 classes for each child. You are required to pay the $85 fee for each co-op totalling $170 for the whole semester. Likewise, you are able to select 4, 5, or 6 class periods for this same price. This way it is very customizable for your family and you can choose exactly what the best fit for your family is.

Q:

Where do you meet?

A:

We know how vital it is to a great co-op to have a great location and God has answered our prayers and provided this for Arrow! We currently meet at Lakeview Bible Church on the corner of Greenhurst and Midland in Nampa.

Q:

Do I have to believe your statement of Faith to be a member?

A:

You do not have to agree with our Statement of Faith in order to be a member at our co-op. We do require however that if you are to teach a class that you agree with it.

Q:

Do I have to wait to start until the beginning of the next semester?

A:

Registration for weekly classes will be closed after the first three weeks of the semester. However, you are welcome to join Arrow at anytime and join us for field trips, parks days, and Moms Night Out. Visitors are also welcome to come to co-op one time to check out classes and see how it all works before you decide to join.

Q:

What do mom's do while the kids are at classes?

A:

We have a variety of Bible studies, discussion groups, or crafts that the mom's can attend during the classes at co-op. Some mom's volunteer to teach and others volunteer to assist in the classes.

Q:

Am I required to teach?

A:

We will never require anyone to teach if they are not comfortable with it. Many of the mom's love teaching and do so well that they volunteer often. Other moms feel more comfortable simply watching and or helping where needed with crafts or class projects. We do not require every mom to volunteer every period or even semester. If there is a season in your life that you just need a break, we want to bless you this way! We also want you to be able to attend our fun Mom classes and Biblestudies.

Q:

Q:

I heard that you have an every other week option! Is this accurate?

A:

We originally had this option but found that after many of the families tried it, 95% of them wanted to come EVERY time we met! So now, we meet for the first 3 Thursdays of the month for our co-op classes and the last one we meet for an optional park day or field trip. This way all the teachers get a break, but the kids still will get to see each other!

Q:

How do I join?

A:

First you will need to register your family by clicking 'Join' at the top right of the Arrow homepage. After some interaction with someone in leadership, you indicate what level of membership you are interested in. We have Field Trip Members, Choir Members, Band Members, Thursday Class Members, etc. Once you are approved, you will get an invoice and you will need to pay in full and send in all electronic AND paper forms before you can register your children for classes. Registration generally opens a month before classes start. You will also need to pay for and complete a background check. Typically our first day in the fall is the Thursday after Labor Day and in the Spring the first or second Thursday after New Years. We hope to see you there!

Q:

Can I attend both the morning and afternoon co-ops?

A:

We highly recommend that you choose the co-op time that fits best for your family and attend just one.  We designed the schedule this way so families could still have time before or after co-op to do school at home, run errands, have family time, or get little ones home for a nap! However, if you feel like you would like to attend both co-ops you may do so. Each co-op is $85 per family per semester, so your total would be $170 per semester.
