Code of Conduct

Parents need to review these rules with their children prior to the first day of class.

All children 6 years of age and older must review and agree.

1. I will treat teachers, parents, other students, and our host facility staff courteously and with respect at all times.
2. I agree to remain within the designated boundaries of the co-op. I will not use areas of the church that the host church has not specifically invited our co-op to utilize.
3. I will be in class at all times while at co-op with the exception of lunchtime and scheduled breaks or recess.
4. I will not run inside.
5. I will come to class on time with all required materials and be ready to learn and participate.
6. For the safety of myself and others, I will not bring dangerous toys or weapons to co-op. (knives, slingshots, guns of ANY type)
7. I understand that I must clean up after myself by picking up my belongings and throwing away my trash.
8. I understand that I will use a helmet when I bring my bike, skateboard, or roller skates/blades to the co-op or the church premises and stay within the boundaries.
9. I understand that pets are not allowed on church premises except for working service dogs.
10. I understand that students are not allowed to have cell phones, iPods, MP3 players, handheld games, etc. out during class time.
11. I agree to follow the dress code.
12. Students understand that their parent will be contacted if disciplinary problems arise. Continued discipline issues will result in my removal from the class and I will be taken to their parent to adequately address the issue.
