Country Mill Orchard & Cider Mill - Explore Michigan
Please join us at The Country Mill Orchard & Cider Mill in Charlotte on Friday, September 28 at 1:00 pm. We are welcome to bring our lunches and arrive early and eat under the pavilion in front of the store (this is where we will meet up as well). The cost is $6.00 per person (all children and adults pay, infants free). Deadline for sign up is September 24
Every participant will receive:
-age appropriate schoolhouse lesson
-tour of market, bakery, cold storage, cider press & apple sorting area
-wagon ride through the orchard
-pick a volleyball size pumpkin out of the patch
-pick an apple off the tree in the orchard
-fresh donut, glass of cider, & lots of memories
-Always dress for the weather. Our wagons have a roof and we can still conduct the tour on a rainy day.
-Boots are a good idea for the pumpkin patch, but you can choose to get a pre-picked pumpkin or apple if needed.
-Also, we visit the cold storage on our field trip, so even on hot days, it is a good idea to bring a sweatshirt with a hood for the kids that they can tie around their waist and put on when we go in our giant refrigerator!
