Science Olympiad has an event you can participate in called "Bridge".

In this meeting, you will work in teams and participate in a bridge building competition. But, you will be given different parameters and constraints than the official Science Olympiad bridge building event. Everything will be provided. Try to come on time because teams will be formed and bridge building will commence as closely to 2:30pm as possible.
This event is open to all homeschool students in 6th through 12th grade. There will be no planned activities for younger siblings, but parents are welcome to bring them along and enjoy the library.
HEART has a high school homeschool Science Olympiad team which will be competing in invitationals and the regional meet in the winter and spring of 2023. And, if there is enough interest and a parent willing to coach, we can have a middle school team as well.
