Standardized Testing Requirement
One way to satisfy your year-end testing requirement is to participate in JCHE's group testing. We use the Terra Nova test and offer a group discount on the test. This two-day testing event occurs in April each year. This year's group testing is on April 11 & 12, 2019 at Selma Baptist Church.
The ACT with writing includes English, Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Writing tests. (Use 969999 homeschool code. The PreACT offers 10th-graders the opportunity to practice for the ACT test with a shortened version of the test. It provides scores on the ACT 1-36 scale, as well as a full view of students’ college and career readiness by identifying areas of strength and improvement for student success.
The SAT with writing includes Reading, Writing-Language, Math, and Essay tests (Use 970000 homeschool code). There are also variations of the SAT which are geared specifically for younger grades.
