This tour was planned so that families could attend both the Hive Tour and Wolf Sanctuary Tour on the same day. However, you do not have to attend both. If you sign up for both, you should bring your lunch and we can eat together on picnic tables at BeeWeaver after the tours. Remember that it will be a late lunch after both the Wolf and Bee tours, and no food or drink is allowed at the Wolf Sanctuary. (It would probably be a good idea to eat a snack in your car before the Wolf Tour.)

On this guided tour you will learn all about wolves and wolfdogs, observe the animals as they enjoy their daily enrichment, and hear their stories! The tour lasts about 1-1.5 hours.

Know Before You Go:

  • Parents/chaperones must remain with their children at all times.
  • Parents/chaperones must be responsible for their children, and should ensure that their children behave appropriately (see below).
  • Absolutely no running, jumping, screaming, yelling or making other loud noises (including howling, loudly calling an animal’s name, or making other potentially intrusive noises in an effort to get an animal’s attention), climbing on railings or roping, taunting animals, or other behavior that is unsafe or is upsetting to our animals.
  • We need to make sure this remains a true sanctuary for our animals. For the animals’ comfort, anyone not following these rules will be asked to leave.
  • Please do not bring any pets or other animals with you. Our wolves don’t like other animals, and it’s dangerous to leave an animal in your car.
  • Please do not bring outside food with you. We don’t have anywhere on site to eat; food also smells strong and wolves have very sensitive noses!
  • Taking photos is fine, but photos cannot be used for commercial purposes without our written consent. We may also restrict photos if the cameras or equipment are bothering any of the animals.
  • We recommend wearing closed-toed shoes and clothes that you won’t mind getting dirty, as our driveway is gravel and can get quite dusty or muddy.
  • Please let us know in advance if anyone in your party will require special assistance. Our facilities are wheelchair-accessible through an alternate door entry into the facility.
  • Please stay with the tour group at all times and don’t wander off. The more dispersed people are, the more it can bother our animals.

Signup is required to attend. Must be logged in to sign up.
