This year we'll be at McKinney Falls State Park! This park is just outside Austin, TX and about a 2.5 hour drive from Houston. You can visit the park website HERE.

All campsites are reserved.

We have 7 tent campsites reserved for 3 nights on March 16-19, 2022. All the campsites are for up to 8 people and have tent pads, picnic tables, campfire pits, water and electricity hookups. The park has bathrooms with hot water showers within walking distance of campsites. With our park pass you will not need to pay any daily fees.

Signup is for all 3 nights. Each campsite is $65 for all 3 nights. Individual families will camp in their own sites and provide their own meals. Our campsites are all near each other in Grapevine Loop Camping Area, which is close to bathrooms with hot showers. You can see a map of the park HERE.

Payment is required at sign up. Sign up and payment deadline is March 7. Please sign up for the campsite you prefer. You will need to be logged in to the website to see the campsite signups.

Description of the park:

"Listen to Onion Creek flowing over limestone ledges and splashing into pools. Follow trails winding through the Hill Country woods. Explore the remains of an early Texas homestead and a very old rock shelter.

Think of the park as Austin’s backyard; we’re just 13 miles from the state capitol. Here you can camp, hike, mountain or road bike, geocache, go bouldering, and picnic. You can also fish and swim in Onion Creek.

Hike or bike nearly nine miles of trails. The 2.8-mile Onion Creek Hike and Bike Trail has a hard surface, good for strollers and road bikes. Take the Rock Shelter Trail (only for hikers) to see where early visitors camped."
