We'll be camping at Cleburne State Park this year.

This year we are camping at Cleburne State Park in Cleburne, TX (about 3.5 hours north of Houston). You can visit the park website HERE.

We have 6 tent campsites reserved for 3 nights on March 17-20, 2021. All the campsites are for up to 8 people and have tent pads, picnic tables, campfire pits, water and electricity hookups. The park has bathrooms with hot water showers within walking distance of campsites. With our park pass you will not need to pay any daily fees.

Sign up is for all 3 nights. Each campsite is $60 for all 3 nights. Individual families will camp in their own sites and provide their own meals. Our campsites are all near each other in Cedar Grove loop, which is close to bathrooms and the swimming area. You can see a map of the park at the link below.

Payment is required at sign up. Sign up and payment deadline is March 6. Please sign up for the campsite you prefer. You will need to be logged in to the website to see the campsite signups.

Description of the park:

“A spring-fed lake, trails through the forest, quiet campsites – what more do you need? Get away from hectic city life at Cleburne State Park, just 30 minutes southwest of Fort Worth on the northern edge of the Hill Country.

The park offers fun for the whole family, for an afternoon or a weekend. On the lake, you can canoe or kayak, fish, swim and boat (no wake). On land, you can explore nearly 13 miles of trails on foot or bike, set up camp, look for geocaches, and nature watch.

The park surrounds the clear blue water of 116-acre Cedar Lake. Enjoy swimming, fishing and no-wake boating. Try your luck fishing from our ADA-accessible, covered fishing pier. We loan fishing gear for use in the park. You do not need a license to fish here. Bring your own watercraft or rent one of ours. Rent a single or double kayak or paddle board from the self-service kiosk (credit card only) at the Cedar Lodge day-use area."
