FAQs

Q:

What is the fee to graduate?

A:

The cost of graduation is $330. This is made in two payments (upon registration and the balance due in February). The fee will cover the cost of the venue, programs, speakers, and video production. Complimentary, as a gift to our graduates and their parents, we also include a professional photographer and a video of the ceremony. A livestream link is made available whenever possible!  The fee does not cover Senior Tables, diploma or honor cords.

Q:

What in person events am I required to attend?

A:

There are four required dates:

January 11th - Informational Meeting: Graduates and a parent must attend this meeting. We will cover all of the things needed from you during the Spring to prepare for the big day. At this meeting you will be measured for your gown, get an overview of the requirements for the pictures, biographies, and voice overs we will need for the program and your personalized slide show, and learn how they will be submitted before the deadlines.

March - FAITH Spirit Night: Graduates OR a parent will need to meet up on our fundraising day to  exchange your diploma for your cap and gown.

May 22nd - Graduation Rehearsal: At 6:00 pm, we will have our Graduation Rehearsal. Parents and graduates (no siblings) must attend. We will be walking through the ceremony in detail so it will run smoothly the following day. Seniors and parents may set-up their senior tables at rehearsal..

May 23rd - Graduation!  The big day is here!  Arrive promptly before 9:30 am. Parents and graduates must attend!

Q:

Does FAITH Graduation need volunteers?

A:

Yes, absolutely! It takes many hands and big hearts to produce this event. Our volunteer coordinators proofread, order gowns, gather advertisers, provide the labor, and so much more. If you are interested in hearing more about coordinators or other volunteer positions and areas that we need help with, please email faithgraduation@gmail.com, and we can update you on our current needs. As a bonus.....Volunteer coordinators receive priority registration for future graduations. This is not just for senior parents! If you would like to volunteer to pay it forward, we can offer you priority registration the year your own senior graduates.

Q:

Why is the Diploma separate from the registration fee?

A:

The diploma is a customized item, including the name of your school, cover design, and personalized add-ons you can choose from. The company we order from offers our graduates a generous discount, but we don’t want to make those big decisions for you. After our January meeting, we will email everyone a code to use to place your own custom orders.

Q:

Why do we have to pay for Senior Tables?

A:

The space is not free. Our organization has to rent the additional space and tables from the venue. That cost ends up being approximately $25 per graduate. Senior tables are not mandatory but special opportunities for parents and seniors to share about their accomplishments and what they love.
