Mrs. Jill Higey To All Instructors

Jill Higey was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, and earned her BS in Physics / General Science / Secondary Education from Grove City College in 2001.  She has taught Physics, Algebra, Pre Calculus, and Engineering courses (Project Lead the Way) at Madison County High School in Madison, VA, and she taught Physics at New Covenant Schools.  She LOVES teaching and encouraging young people by helping them see the gifts God has given them.  She sees science and math as a study in God's revelation through His Creation, and is always marveling at the genius of God!  When not lesson planning, teaching her homeschooled children, or grading papers, Mrs. Higey enjoys time with her husband, Jason, and 5 kids:  Elijah, Salem, Aaron, Rocco, and Mary.  She is a city-girl who has found herself learning to enjoy life on a hobby farm, and she's very much excited to be joining the team at ACA for the 2025-2026 school year!
