• We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as either male or female. These two distinct complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Rejection of one's biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. 
• We believe that God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one biological man and one biological woman, and that intimate sexual activity is to occur exclusively within that union (Genesis 2:18-25; 1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4).
• We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31). 3. Financial Commitment

Payment plans are offered as a courtesy. Full payment must still be made even if you decide to drop a class. Spectrum plans its budget and hires teachers based on enrollment. Also, due to class sizes, dropped registrations may cause another student to miss the opportunity to sign up for a class that was full or may cause a class to be dropped because it no longer has enough students. Please consider your choices carefully before registering. If you register for a class by mistake, you have 48 hours to notify the registrar to make the change.

Do you agree that once you register for classes and make your initial tuition payment, to commit to paying for the entire year's tuition for all classes in which your child/children is/are registered, even if your child/children withdraw from the class? You may make payments according to Spectrum's payment plan, or you may pay your balance in full at any time. 4. Pick-Up Plan

Option 1: Student will be picked up by a parent (or designated other) inside the building at the end of their SCHC day on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Option 2: Student will be picked up by their parent (or designated other) in the parking lot at the end of their SCHC day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Waiver for options 1 & 2: I release Spectrum Christian Homeschool Community from responsibility for my child from the time he/she leaves his/her last class until he/she is picked up by a parent or other designated person.

Option 3: Student will drive themselves from SCHC at the end of their classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

7. Volunteer Opportunties

Are you interested in volunteering? We need volunteers for our Hospitality committee. This committee helps with special lunches, family nights, etc. You do not have to do all events. Service team organizers are also needed to help plan opportunities for service from home or at a ministry site. Our Care Team could use support to help organize meal trains, etc. for families that may be going through tough times. You may have other skills or talents that you would like to offer as well.
