Florida Film Academy is a leader in visual arts education. Their mission is to inspire and promote excellence in creativity and visual arts through education, application and real world opportunities. Florida Film Academy students are given the tools and skills they need to succeed both now and in the future. Instructors have over 40 years combined experience in the broadcast and media industries and still actively work as writers, producers, directors, cinematographers and photographers for some of the world’s top networks.
Stefanie Robinson started Florida Film Academy back in 2010 with Kay Hill and David Haynes and has seen this amazing program grow and inspire so many kids and teens over the last decade. “Creativity has always been a part of my life. I grew up in Miami and always had a love for the performing arts.” After attending New World School of the Arts, a prestigious arts school in Miami, Stefanie knew creativity would always be at the core of her career path. Stefanie worked side by side with Kay and David producing TV shows for National Geographic, Netflix and more over the years while growing the film academy. FFA has become a well know creative hub in the West Orlando area specializing in Film, digital art and animation, make up FX, prop design, acting, directing, and so much more. Stefanie has two of her own little homeschoolers: Jack and Charlotte.
