Thank you for your interest in Home Ed Plus! We are passionate about offering your children a Christian education in a hands-on learning environment, and we are excited to welcome you to our community.
We offer our core classes on Mondays and a large variety of elective classes on Wednesdays. Students may take as many or as few classes as desired - many families choose to take all core classes at HEP and others choose only classes that they are not comfortable teaching at home or electives not easily available elsewhere.
We are located inside Trinity Lutheran Church, 800 Houston Avenue, just on the western edge of downtown Houston, in a vibrant food & art-rich area. Please feel free to come see our classes in action any time we are in session!

How It Works
Our annual administration fee of $90 per child (max of $225 per family) covers the use of the facilities, cost of insurance, supplies, etc., and is due at the time of registration. .
All Home Ed Plus families must volunteer at least one full day each semester (two full days per year) or four half-day shifts per year. Shifts are Mondays 8-12:30 or 12:30-5, or Wednesdays 9-1. We will be using Sign Up Genius for volunteer jobs this year - you will be able to access our volunteer page once you have joined HEP and been approved for membership.

Supply fees are due to teachers at the time of registration (must be received by the teacher within 14 days after registering if paying by check or cash); class fees may be paid monthly beginning in August.
HEP understands that extraordinary circumstances may cause a student to be unable to continue taking a class. If this occurs anytime after the first 4 weeks of classes, parents will need to pay a drop fee of one month's tuition to the teacher. There will be NO refunds of the HEP registration fee or study hall/gym fees.

In order to register for classes, you will need to follow these procedures:
1) Click "Join" at the top of the Home Page. Complete the information and click "Continue" at the bottom of the screen. We will be notified of your request for membership and you will then receive a confirmation email from us.
2) AFTER you receive the confirmation email, you may log into your new account, using the login and password you created in Step 1.
3) After logging in, click "Profile" at the top of the Home Page. You will see a very long list of forms that will need to be completed before you will be able to register for classes. Please return to your Profile after completing each form so complete the next form. There are currently 10 forms to complete, and that's AFTER combining several!
Please note that one of the forms that must be completed is an acknowledgment of the volunteer responsibility for HEP enrollment. You will now be able to register for your own volunteer spots through the website by clicking here and selecting the date and time you wish to volunteer. OR, you may buyout your volunteer requirement at a cost of $150 for the school year.
Once you have completed and submitted ALL forms AND paid the HEP registration fee, we will release your account so you can register for the actual classes.
