PLEASE NOTE: ALL STUDENTS MUST BE 6TH GRADE AND ABOVE AND EACH GROUP MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT CHAPERONE. CHAPERONES MUST ALSO PURCHASE TICKETS.
Join the Education Staff of the Dallas Holocaust Museum for a special day of learning for homeschool students! The program includes a docent-led tour of the permanent exhibition, a special interactive Survivor experience, and an activity where students get a behind-the-scenes look at creating an exhibit.
Schedule:
9:00 a.m. Check-in and Introduction
9:30 a.m. Docent-Led Tour
12 p.m. Lunch (attendees can bring their own lunch; we will also provide a map of restaurants in the neighborhood)
1 p.m. Dimensions in Testimony Theater experience
1:45 p.m. Be Your Own Curator Activity: Students will be transformed into museum curators as they get a behind-the-scenes look at creating an exhibit
2:30 p.m. Conclusion
Please note: attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch, but we do not have access to a refrigerator or microwave.
