Additional Information

Auditions for drama camp are this Monday night, January 19, 2015 at 7:00pm at the Academy of Arts, 80 School Street, Taylors.

The week-long camp will be March 23-28, 2015.  Whether you prefer behind the scenes or on stage, there is a place for everyone.  Everyone interested should come to auditions on Monday night, Jan. 19th, even if you want to work behind the scenes.  No preparation is necessary for auditions.

The cost for the week is $150 for 7th-12th graders and $100 for K-6th graders.  If you have 3 or more children participating, the 3rd, 4th, etc. child would be half price.

Half of the Student Production Fee is due at auditions and the remaining balance is due the week of the camp.

In an effort to be sensitive to the academic demands of our students, this is the week elementary and middle school ends for the school year (so no homework) and the week before high schoolers have spring break.  We are working to accommodate the co-op times on Monday and Wednesday by having rehearsals later on those days.

This year, we will be doing two separate performances during the same week.

The K-6th graders (elementary) will be performing "Giving Thanks" on Friday night.

Tentatively, practice for K-6th graders is:
Mon - 2:30-5:30
Tues - 9:00-12:30
Wed - 9:00-12:30
Thurs - 9:00-12:30
Fri - 9:00-12:30 dress rehearsal, return at 3:00 for 7:00 performance (Elementary performance of "Giving Thanks")

The 7th-12th graders (high schoolers) will be performing "The Lions of Trondheim" on Saturday afternoon.  This play is set during World War II and follows members of the Norwegian Resistance as they conspire with the British to overcome the Nazis. As they struggle to maintain their secrecy, they find that their greatest enemy is among them. You will follow these patriots in the village of Trondheim as they work to uncover the mole within and undermine the Nazis without. We are thrilled about bringing this historical drama to you as it is based on actual events!

Tentative practice for 7th-12th graders is:

Mon - 2:30-9:00pm
Tues - 9:00-5:00pm
Wed - 2:30-9:00pm
Thurs - 9:00-9:00pm dress rehearsal
Fri - 9:00-5:00pm
Saturday 2:00pm (High school performance of "The Lions of Trondheim)

Hope to see you Monday night!
