What is Trinity Homeschool Extension?

A:

THE is a place where homeschooled students in 6th - 12th grades receive classroom instruction twice a week. Our teachers provide instruction on Mondays and Wednesdays as well as assignments to be completed at home on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Working with parents as our co-educators, we help students understand and apply the skills needed to earn their high school diploma.

What can I expect from the teachers?

THE provides teachers who care about the students, are competent in their subject, answer your questions, grade your student's work, and provide report cards at the end of each grade period.

No, THE is not a homeschool covering. Contact CHEF of Alabama for the latest on how to legally homeschool in Alabama.

How many classes do I have to take?

A:

There is no minimum number of classes required. Register for as many as you need: 1, 2 or a full load. Class schedule is subject to teacher availability.

How much does it cost?

A:

There is an up-front, non-refundable registration fee per class ($100 before May 31; $120 before June 30, Additional $75 after June 30, with caps per student and family. And then parents pay only $70 per month per class (approximately $6.50 per instructional hour).. 

Q:

Which curriculum is used?

A:

Curriculum varies by class, but is generally readily available through Christian publishers such as Apologia, Notgrass, ABeka or Bob Jones. Parents will be given a supply list at the time of registration.
