Mrs. Maureen Benes To All Instructors

English/Writing

Maureen Benes is a writer and teacher who loves demystifying the writing process while maintaining high standards for her students.

She has a BA in English from the University of Dallas, an MA in Literature from  the College of Charleston, and has completed all but her dissertation for the PhD program in English at Boston College.

Mrs. Benes has taught elementary, middle, high school, and university level poetry, writing, and literature. She has a special love for teaching poetry and helping reluctant writers of all ages.
