Chess Club

When:  1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month. (Depending on Holidays and Homelink schedule, this may change.
            We will email you if Chess Club is not happening on a certain day.)

Time:     2:00-3:00 pm

Where:  Homelink!   Our Homelink Learning Center is located at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 309 Hoffmeister, 63125.  Drive around to the back where there is a huge parking lot.  Look for the Homelink sign at the door of the first school building.  (People come and go constantly from our building, so it is hard to miss.)  Chess Club will be downstairs in the cafeteria.

More details:  Chess Club is open to ALL SHARE members.

Masks are optional.

Price is FREE!

There may also be a participation waiver to fill out one time.

WHY IS CHESS IMPORTANT?  Chess is a game for all people , the game helps to develop memory , improves concentration , develops concentration , imagination and creativity , chess teaches independence , chess develops the capability to predict and foresee consequences of actions , chess inspires self-motivation , chess shows that success rewards hard work , chess helps to facilitate critical thinking skills , chess improves school work and grades , you get to meet like-minded people , chess is an inexpensive game to play , and chess is entertaining .
