WHAT: Tour of the main facility
The field trip will be approximately 1 1/2 hours and will include a tour of the facilities, basic functions performed there, and there will be some classroom time to include other information as origin of the humane society, adoption options, pet care and some more about the animals.
The tour and classroom time last about 45 minutes each. So, plan from about 10 a.m. through 11:30 p.m. The recommended level covered is 4th - 6th grade although all ages are welcome.
COST: The cost is $5.00 per student payable in advance through SHARE. Adults free.
DEADLINE TO SIGN-UP: The cut-off date for registration is January 9th, so we can give the Humane Society an exact count in order that they can plan for the number of children attending.
HOW TO SIGN UP: Go to the SHARE Calendar (if there, scroll down) and click on January11th. If you are paying via Paypal, please log-in first so that the website will automatically post your payment.
WHAT ELSE: Enter the door with the sign "ADOPTION" and there is a free parking lot on the premises.
