Field Trip to Flamig Farm

Add to Your Calendar: 04/16/2021 10:00 04/16/2021 00:00 America/New_York Field Trip to Flamig Farm

Enjoy your time at Flamig Farm!

"Our famous Petting Zoo is a place where visitors of all ages can meet our adorable, friendly farm animals. Our animals are amazing creatures, each of whom has a unique and charming personality. They are all just waiting to meet you and make you laugh and love. Guests are invited to stay as long during a visit as they would like, resting for their own snacks or lunch in our beautiful pavilion and enjoying our flower strewn grounds."

They also have a farm store with food and gift items.

This field trip is for all ages and is self-guided. We have the option to take a 30 minute tractor hayride. Hayride occupancy is limited, sign up early.

Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes, as most of the property is grass/dirt, could be muddy.

We've reserved the pavillion for lunch, feel free to bring a bag lunch and eat together.

Cost: $5 per person, plus optional tractor hayride is $3 per person.

No refunds unless the field trip is cancelled.

Please indicate on this sign up form if you'd like to do the hayride. They need a headcount ahead of time to be ready with the tractor.

Signups and payments due April 9th. (If we do not meet the minimum number of people for the hayride we'll reimburse you for that, if we have a lot of interest we'll reserve 2 time spots for the hayride.)

Side note: We very much enjoy planning field trips for the homeschool community and for the Spring we have opened up our field trips to non-members. We hope this allows families to not only have field trip opportunities but to meet other homeschoolers in an educational yet fun setting. With that said, there are nominal expenses that are incurred when we take payments, but they do add up. Members "pay into the pot," so to speak, with the cost of membership and also enjoy other small benefits such as having the opportunity to sign up first. We have added a few options to donate a nominal amount to help offset these costs, this is completely optional. We greatly appreciate any support, thank you!!
