From Indian Rock: "For the health and safety of our guests and our staff we are requiring all field trip attendees to wear a mask when indoors and outdoors when 6ft social distancing is not possible. We also ask that all program participants do a self health check before attending the program and to stay home if they are not feeling well. We have also moved more of our programing outdoors to reduce the time spent in enclosed spaces. So, for example, instead of doing the full Native American program inside the Wigwam we have small groups go in to look at the inside of the Wigwam and then do most of the program right outside of the Wigwam."
Parking: Park in lower lot right after turning into main entrance. We'll be met by the educator at the lot and will be guided to the location of our program.
Side note: We very much enjoy planning field trips for the homeschool community and for the Spring we have opened up our field trips to non-members. We hope this allows families to not only have field trip opportunities but to meet other homeschoolers in an educational yet fun setting. With that said, there are nominal expenses that are incurred when we take payments, but they do add up. Members "pay into the pot," so to speak, with the cost of membership and also enjoy other small benefits such as having the opportunity to sign up first. We have added a few options to donate a nominal amount to help offset these costs, this is completely optional. We greatly appreciate any support, thank you!!
