Additional Information

Hello Homeschool Families!

We have already gotten a fantastic response, and are looking forward to one of the best Homeschool Capitol Days ever!

If you are just tuning in, please visit CAPITOL DAY on our website for more details:

  • What to expect
  • Schedule of the day *(see below)
  • How to talk to your legislator - for parents and *teens!
  • Activities for children - and -
  • Activities AFTER Capitol Day!
  • Parking and Directions *(see below)

Unfortunately, both the 12:15 & 1:15 the Capitol tours are full.

(There may be some no-shows, we will do our best to accommodate everyone with a wait list or the options below.)

Good news, we added a discounted trip to the Science Center! Advance registration and payment by April 2nd is required for this trip. Please see details to REGISTER and PAY ONLINE. We need a minimum of 15 people (adults & kids) for this trip. If interested please register now!

We also are offering a limited number of 50% off vouchers to the CT Old State House, first come first served.

Capitol Day is FREE, but pre-registration is required. If you have not yet registered, please do so now HERE. NOTE: This is separate from the Science Center registration above.

Last but not least, if you have not yet ... please take a moment to call and INVITE YOUR LEGISLATOR to attend. All legislators should have received an email invitation for "CT Home Educator's Capitol Day" on March 22nd, and will also receive a postcard invitation today March 28th.

But it is YOUR personal invitation as their constituent that will make all the difference.

Don't know how? CLICK HERE for complete instructions on finding and calling your CT House Representative and State Senator. Thank you!
