Our Co-Op Community

We provide many enrichment opportunities beyond the Co-op classroom.  Some of these activities may include field trips, service projects, fellowship time for Junior and Senior High schoolers, missionary sponsorship, Mom’s Night Out, Presentation Nights, Cotillion dances, fundraisers, yearbook, and more.  Extra-curricular events sponsored by Foundations HSC are subject to the policies and approval of Co-op. All activities that are not Co-op sponsored must indicate that information when publicized.

Fundraisers
Fundraisers are held as needed during the year as needed to supplement the Co-op’s general fund.  Registration funds cover our monthly bills for facility rental and insurance so fundraisers allow us to purchase or pay for items needed in a variety of areas.  Examples:  kitchen supplies, copies/toner, presentation nights, class supplies, core curriculum and equipment for re-use by teachers and help with monthly bills as needed.  At the beginning of each year families provide needed supplies, but we do run out or have additional supply needs during the year.

Missions
Each Monday a Snack Bar is available to our families on a donation basis (most items approximately 25 cents). Families are asked to sign up for at least one Monday to help provide the snack items. The funds raised from the Snack Bar are given at the end of the school year to the mission voted on the previous year by co-op members.
