Welcome to SALT Co-Op! We are glad you found us.
SALT is organized by homeschooling parents for their children. We meet on Tuesdays at the Church of Grace and Peace in Toms River, NJ. Pre-Covid we met from 10:00 am - 3:33 pm, with five 55 minute classes for ages infant through high school. We are still in the process of planning what this year will look like, but our orginal intention was that it would look similar. We intend to begin for the year in early October of 2021. We seek input from active members for classes desired and work with our members to ensure that each class has a Christian teacher, who will pursue the gospel, as according to the Scriptures. SALT Leadership is responsible for organizing the overall class schedule, managing parent/youth teachers and volunteers, and encouraging parents to participate in or lead many social, educational, or community oriented activities.
