What We Offer

The following activities and events, as well as others, are offered each year or have been offered in the past dependent on members volunteering to lead.

Park Day- Weekly
Let the kids play and the moms visit weekly. Park location to be determined each month.

Field Trips- At least one outing per month
Occurring throughout the school year, GWCHE-organized field trips are a gem — a true can’t-miss for so many of our GWCHE families. Our Field Trip team organizes many, but they’ve set up a great system so you can organize your own for the group. Field Trips are a great opportunity to walk and learn alongside other GWCHE families.

Mom’s Night Out-
A time of fellowship with like-minded homeschooling moms!

Resource Fair- August
Held in August at the first GWCHE General Meeting, the Resource Fair features representatives from local organizations offering classes, resources or other benefits to the homeschool community.

Used Curriculum Sale- August (with Resource Fair)
This is a great opportunity to clear out materials you no longer need and find great savings on the home school materials you’ve been looking for.

Back to School Party- August
Held in August, the Back to School event is a fun kick off to the school year! We reserve a Pool, Skating Rink, or another facility on a special evening just for us – fun for the whole family!

Homeschooling Show and Tell Events- September and January
We will plan to host these events twice a year. Homeschooling Parents are encouraged to bring some of their favorite curriculum to show other homeschooling parents. Tell us about your favorite co-op groups or classes. Ask questions and learn some great homeschooling tips from seasoned homeschooling parents. This is a great event for all homeschoolers to learn and share ideas!
