Our Faith

We are a group of committed Christians homeschooling our children with the desire to please the Lord as we educate them.  Above all, we want our co-op to be God-glorifying. To this end, we teach from a Christian worldview. We pray every morning together, teach that the Bible is inerrant,  view science from a creationist viewpoint, and approach history in the light that God has been active in history in the past and present. 

We recognize that our group is made up of a diverse group of people whose commonality is the priority of homeschooling our children.  However, we are a faith-based, Christian homeschool co-op and want to ensure that everyone who participates is aware of this and can agree to a common statement of faith.  Therefore, we have chosen the Apostle's Creed that has served the church throughout the ages.  

Statement of Faith 

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; 

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
